Work From Home Success Diary June 27 2010

I was just reading through back-posts from Amy Bass’s My Debt Free Goal blog. I’ve followed her blog since she started it and have always admired her efforts in getting her family out of debt and building an income online. I decided to do something – her posts inspired me!

I am going to give you a glimpse at what I do each day.  My motive for doing this is the same as hers. I want people to see what it takes to make money online. I also want to keep myself motivated. Trust me – unless I employ these little tricks, it is easy to lose my motivation.

Here’s a list of the things I’ve done today.

To Do List. Made a to-do list of all the “make money online” related tasks I need to do.

PLR Content Site. Worked on planning my new PLR content site. I have a steep learning curve because I will be using ZenCart as my shopping cart system. I’m a little nervous but also very stubborn. I also don’t have any of the content written.

Working for others. I decided to start doing ghost writing jobs again. I don’t know how long I will be doing this and to tell the truth, if my other income streams gain steam before my first job comes in, I won’t be all that upset!

vWorker.com. I got word from vWorker.com that one of the bids I made was rejected. I wanted $100 for the project ($10 an article) but the bid went to someone who charged $50. I feel bad for this writer! I felt that even my rate was really low.

Associated Content. In an effort to make some quick cash, I am in the process of writing 10 articles and submitting them to Associated Content. I contribute to 2 channels (3 articles each channel) so that’s a guaranteed $60 (you get $10 an article). The rest will be random. I think I’ll submit in the food and wedding categories so I can apply for those channels, too.

Writing PLR. Worked on writing a PLR article pack for sale. Which brings me to my next question – do you have a need for PLR? Are there any packs you’d like to see me write?

MSC Things. I did a quick run to the supermarket. We needed milk. Plus I went with my husband to get a haircut. We spent the night in a small village in the Mosel so we drove home. I also did Rosetta Stone German and a whole slew of laundry.
