I’m starting a project of writing some PLR article packs to put up for sale on this site. I’m also hormonal. After watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and wishing that I was in Oia, just like the character who went to Greece, (yes, believe it or not I really, physically, recognized that random Greek Village as Oia on the island of Santorini) I had a mini-professional crisis. I felt bored with writing articles. And Oia sent me spinning into that mini-crisis because Oia is way more interesting than content.
Or is it?
I didn’t know. I really didn’t know. My idealism just had to kick in right there. I second guessed my whole business model. I almost sketched out a new business pan.
Then I realized I was being silly.
I really do like writing content. I just momentarily skittered away from my focus point. Writing online and setting up my various internet businesses gives us the opportunity to afford things like random trips to Santorini (and maybe even my very own villa one day – you think I’m joking!)… So I didn’t rewrite that plan, it’s fine the way it is.
I like writing content. Of all kinds. And every topic I write about is one that I genuinely enjoy.
So that’s why I’m in business – so that my husband and I can afford things like random vacations, and so that we can pay our bills. Why are you in business? Knowing your reasons helps a lot – especially when you have moments like I did yesterday when one image of a fun vacation could nearly derail the whole thing.
BTW – There is no way I am going to be able to update you every day on my progress – but I’ll throw in an update now and then to keep me motivated.
