I debated and debated whether to join the wealthy affiliate forum. I was afraid that it would clutter my mind up even more than it already is, what with all the “studying” about internet marketing I’ve been doing over the years. But you know what? I just went ahead with it, and the pending rate increase from $39 a month to $99 a month isn’t just what made me decide.
Why did I do it?
What really capped it is that in order to succeed, I think I needed a community that would help me get there – somewhere to ask question, get feedback and advice, offer my own guidance. And seriously, if I had really stopped to consider what I was doing in the beginning, I would have purchased this and a select few other products and called it a day (Super Affiliate Handbook and Niche Blogger are the others).
Expectations Exceeded so Far!
So now, I’ve logged in for the first time, and I seriously thought I was just paying for forum access. I DID NOT expect what I was greeted with. This membership site has more information on it than any other product I’ve ever purchased. It has an 8 week training program that I get the impression is incredibly successful (for those who stick with it). I’m still trying to get acquainted with the format and everything but once I do, I know this is going to be an invaluable resource.
Do I think you should join?
I am going to use the 8 week training program and apply it to my Squidoo project. But that will have to go on my master list because I’m being very stubborn about completing those tasks. Overall, I see Wealthy Affiliate as a way to take things to the next level. But that’s just for me. What about you? I believe that everyone needs to “make their own way”. Join if it makes sense for where you’re at. Just keep in mind that the membership rate is going up considerably on June 7. This forced me to make a decision pretty quick!
