It's very inspiring, but I have to ask this, and pls (don't take it the wrong way) tell it to me straight: is it really possible to make a support-yourself-income using Squidoo, Associated Content, Hub Pages, and/or Rentacoder or Elance? I am a professional writer (specializing in medicine). I still maintain a print health & wellness column for a local magazine, and I used to work from home, but I wasn't getting enough copywriting clients for it to be sustainable. I still get some clients, but again, not a good income. Now I am back to a 2 hr car commute and it hurts. So puhleeeez, tell me straight up, is it possible to make a modest income (say $2,000/month) with the abovementioned sites, plus a blog or two? I have no fear of writing a lot. I love to write and have always wanted to be a writer. I was a professional print newspaper-based journalist for over 10 yrs., so the writing thing isn't a problem.
